Water Quality by CIP Health is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data. All app data remains exclusively on your device.
We do not collect any personal information. No account creation is required. No email, name, or personal identifiers are stored. No analytics or tracking SDKs are used.
All data — including your favorite brands, comparison history, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is never transmitted to external servers.
Water Quality uses your device camera exclusively during active barcode scanning sessions. Camera access is requested only when you initiate a scan. No images are stored, transmitted, or processed beyond the immediate barcode reading.
Water Quality uses an internal database of mineral composition data compiled from official water brand analyses and laboratory reports. This database is bundled with the app — no network requests are made to retrieve water brand data.
We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, or any third-party tracking service. Water Quality makes no external API calls for its core functionality.
We do not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties. Period.
Water Quality does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no features directed at children and complies with applicable children's privacy laws.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
